SOMERSET LAVENDER

Last week we visited Somerset Lavender with our lovely friends, for a walk around the fields and a taste of the lemon and lavender cake. It was a beautiful place, and offered the chance for some gorgeous photographs of our girls.

The smell was so amazing as we wondered around, and even though Coralie suddenly noticed all the bees just at the end and became a little nervous, we all had a wonderful afternoon.

MONTHLY PORTRAIT: may

The ever-changing relationship of sisters! Most of the time they are so happy to play together and be with each other. They're the best of friends. And other times...not so much. And it can all change in the blink of an eye (or a dispute over who was playing with which doll/car/playmobil guy or getting too many cuddles!) xx

CORALIE AND GEORGE: may

With our biggest kids at nursery on a Tuesday afternoon, my best friend and I decided to each take the babies on alternate weeks, to give each other an afternoon to work, rest or play. It's amazing what you can get done in five hours and these two monkeys have the best time hanging out together.

Last week I took them to the Botanical Gardens to enjoy the sunshine and chase the squirrels for an hour. They basically take care of each other, and so I was able to follow them around to photograph them exploring the world without any guidance from their older siblings.

These two are the sweetest pair, and so hilarious. They make each other laugh constantly. What a beautiful friendship.

SPRING

The end of last week and the weekend were so beautiful and sunny - spring is truly in the air, and it feels so good. We soaked up every ounce and spent days at the meadow, the Botanical Gardens and on the allotment.

I find the sunshine and warm weather inspires me so much after months of grey and cold, so I've had the camera on me at all times. Prepare yourselves for plenty of pictures!! (Coralie and my Godson George on the swing together slays me!)

Here's to that cold wind dying down and the days becoming a little longer so we picnic season can properly start.
