How lovely are these prints? And they contrast with our sofa and Union Jack cushion (a wedding present!) rather beautifully. Plus I took the zips out of the old covers and whipped them up in about an hour on my Mum's far superior machine. Man, I love that thing. It's quiet and smooth and actually works when you want it to. I will be stealing it more often!
ps. thank you for all your lovely comments about our family's latest arrival. He is so cute, isn't he! x
this makes me wish i had a sewing machine!
ReplyDeleteI love that fabric. I have a friend bringing me pillows that she doesn't need anymore. I'm trying to decide if I want to make more for my living room or if I want to go crazy and do something crafty with them. This is making me lean towards living room decorations. :)
ReplyDeletethat's some lovely fabric! you wouldn't really find anything like that new now (:

oh my gosh. how did you figure out how to make pillows? I'm a royal retard when it comes to sewing using patterns and stuff - but I just got a machine and I dream of stuff all day long I want to make. Now I want to make pretty pillows like you.
ReplyDeleteGreat fabric! And I so want one if those union jack cushions. They are very cool.
ReplyDeleteI have a sewing machine gathering dust in my lounge room. The more I read your blog, the closer I get to tackling learning to use it!
